Trio of Knights earn All-County at Oakland County Championships

Walled Lake Northern runners shined at the Oakland County Championships on Saturday at Kensington Metropark.

The Knights boys’ and girls’ teams both placed in the Top 15 with three runners earning All-County honors.

Two boys were recognized as All-County. Finn Gammerath (16:53.21) finished 13th overall and Nikola Dahlgren (17:01.05) placed 19th. The Walled Lake Northern earned 15th as a team.

Allie Gallagher earned All-County honors in the girls’ race. She finished the 5000 meter run in 20:29.89 for 21st overall. The Knights’ ladies placed 13th as a team.

Walled Lake Central finished 23rd in the girls’ race and 36th in the boys’ race, while Walled Lake Western placed 28th in girls and 26th in boys.
